Caroline Jennings is the General Manager of Kennedy Racing.
Caroline has 20 years experience in the equine industry, working for some of the world’s leading horse specialists. Over 10 years, Caroline has worked closely with Monty Roberts, becoming Ireland’s first Monty Roberts accredited instructor. Kennedy Racing works closely with Monty Roberts to ensure that its race horses are trained and maintained in accordance with Monty Roberts’ horse welfare focus. Caroline’s unique skills and insight, learnt under the direct tutelage of Monty is a commodity that few, if any other racing stable is able to call upon.
In addition to her work with Monty Roberts, Caroline worked for a number of years in both Sydney and Melbourne with Gai Waterhouse. As part of Gai Waterhouse’s racing team, Caroline was able to implement her skills in the thoroughbred racing industry and thrived in it. Caroline’s well rounded experience is highlighted by her work in foal development and equine based therapeutic care.
Caroline has played key roles in some of the world’s largest horse studs, including Coolmore Australia, involved in first handling and training of Thoroughbred foals at Waikato Stud and Cambridge Stud with Foal NZ. Further, Caroline has also developed a therapeutic care program utilising horses and Montys Join-Up with the Australian Childhood Foundation, an organisation focused on the care and well being of children and young people affected by trauma.
As General Manager, Caroline’s involvement crosses over from not only being involved in the oversight of Kennedy Racing’s young brigade of horses, but also in the development of the Kennedy Racing team. With a growing stable of horses and the development of world class facilities, Caroline’s focus is on ensuring that the Kennedy Racing team is able to provide world class training, staffing and facilities for its racing stables.
